The Christmas in St. Louis Foundation is a civic organization dedicated to enhancing the community’s celebration of the holiday season by coordinating two signature events that have become holiday traditions for hundreds of thousands of St. Louis families.

  • The Festival of Lights event at Union Station kicks off the season with live performances, a dramatic holiday tree illumination capped off with a fireworks display before returning inside Union Station for more festivities
  • The 31st Annual Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature more than 125 festive units including marching bands, floats, helium balloons and vintage cars. The live broadcast on KMOV Channel 4 is viewed by more than 100,000 households throughout the region, and over 20 spectators typically attend the parade along the streets of downtown St. Louis.

Parade Title Sponsor – SOLD

Title sponsor of the parade includes naming rights for all aspects of the parade including TV, Radio, social media, print, billboards and publicity. 

Festival of Lights Ceremony Sponsor – SOLD

The Festival sponsor receives naming rights for the event and impressive exposure through a live broadcast on Channel 4, on-stage appearance, social media, and feature placement in all promotional materials leading up to the event.

Marching Band Contest Sponsor – $10, 000

The sponsor of the Marching Band Contest receives exposure throughout the live TV broadcasts, social media, and all promotional materials including school mailings and e-communications.

VIP Area – $7,500

The sponsor of the VIP area at Union Station receives exposure throughout the live broadcast and the opportunity to host honored guests who will enjoy indoor refreshments and a front row seat to the parade.  

Character Helium Balloon – $5,000 to $10,000

Choose between a large variety of helium balloons, many of which can be branded with your logo, and create a fun and memorable team-building event.

Hungry Turkey Thanksgiving Day Run Sponsor – $10,000

Sponsor our 5K run over the Eads Bridge and finishing along the parade route, taking place just prior to the start of the parade.

Festive Parade Floats – $5,000 to $15,000

CISL can arrange festive floats that your organization can rent, decorate, and ride in the parade.

Live TV interview – $2,500

Appear on Channel 4 during a 90-second live interview (in conjunction with your parade entry.)

Opening Ceremony Sponsor – $2,500

Sponsorship of Opening Ceremony including National Anthem at start of the live parade broadcast.

Commercial Unit – $2,500

If you have a mobile marketing unit, you can enter it in the parade (subject to review of the entry).

Beauty Queen Sponsorship – $1,500

Your organization’s name on Beauty Queen signs on convertibles seen by spectators and TV viewers. 

Promotional Handouts – $500

Parade or Festival sponsors wishing to distribute promotional literature are invited to do so (subject to content approval). 

Festival of Lights Ceremony Booth – $1,000

Promote your organization and its products at the Festival in front of thousands with a 10’ x 10’ booth in Union Station.
